Vélfag delivered a fish processing line to Castletownbere Fisherman's in Ireland last week.

​Last week, Vélfag delivered a whole processing line to Castletownbere Fisherman's in Ireland, including the M521 (H&G), the M705 computer-controlled filleting machine, and the M822 skinning machine.

Vélfag has great experience in providing processing solutions tailored to the specific needs of the Irish market. Over the past three years, we have successfully delivered five installations in Ireland. Castletownbere Fishermen process a diverse range of species, which can vary both in sizes and condition. Our M705 filleting machine is an ideal solution for their requirements, where it can efficiently process a wide range of fish sizes, and with a simple push of a button, it can adapt settings to handle different fish species and condition (new or soft fish). 

The M521 heading machine is designed to both head whole fish and take the collarbone off pre-headed fish (H&G). The M521 eliminates the danger of fillets getting stuck in the filleting process and, subsequently, the following fillets. The M822 skinning machine completes the processing line, which easily skins different fish types and sizes with maximum capacity.
